Guide · Byes
Plan your
bye weeks.
Byes shows, week by week, which of your players are on bye and whether you can still fill every starting slot.
Open ByesWhat it shows
For every week from the selected one to the end of your league’s playoffs, Byes lists the players on your roster whose NFL team doesn’t play. It then checks whether the rest of your roster can still fill every starting slot, flex slots included.
A week where a slot would stay empty is flagged, so you can fix it early with a pickup or a trade, instead of the Saturday before.
How the check works
The check uses the same exact lineup solver as the Lineup tool, but treats every available player as equally valuable. The question isn’t “who is best” but “can these slots be filled at all”. That matters with flex slots: two running backs on bye might still be covered by a receiver in FLEX, or might not, depending on the rest of the roster.
Players on IR or the taxi squad never count, because they can’t be started. Injuries are ignored on purpose: an injury today says little about week 12.
Tips
- Look a few weeks ahead before the crowded bye weeks in mid-season. The waiver wire is thinner once everyone needs a fill-in.
- Use Waivers with the This week horizon to find a one-week replacement. Its drop logic won’t cut a starter just because he is on bye.
