How the verdict works
Score = 70% of Sleeper's projection for the week + 30% of the player's average over their last 3 games. That recent average is adjusted by the matchup: how many fantasy points this week's opponent has allowed per game to the position, compared with the league average (at most ±15%, and only after 2 completed weeks). Players ruled out or on bye score 0; Doubtful counts ×0.5 and Questionable ×0.9 (injury status is today’s, so it’s ignored for a week already played). The highest score gets the start; gaps under 5% are flagged as a close call.
Offensive players, kickers and team defenses use the scoring format you pick. Individual defensive players (DL, LB, DB) always use Sleeper's default IDP scoring: solo tackle 2, assisted tackle 1, tackle for loss 2, sack 6, QB hit 1, interception 6, forced fumble 3, fumble recovery 3, pass defended 3, touchdown 6, blocked kick 3.
